The Resort
Discover the Magic
For generations, the people of the Pacific Northwest Tlingit tribe celebrated the feeling of peace and togetherness found at the nesting sites of birds. They held a deep reverence for the contrast between human connection and nature found at these places and named them “Taku”.
The Experience
Start Exploring Quadra
From the bottom of the ocean to the top of the mountains, there is an activity to suit everyone.
The Island
A Place to Create Lasting Memories
Located just off the shore of Campbell River, Quadra Island rests among the Discovery Islands in the Salish Sea north west from Vancouver, British Columbia. Quadra Island can be reached by air, land or sea.
The Marina
Safe and Sturdy Moorage
Situated on the calm waters of Drew Harbour off Quadra Island’s eastern shore, join fellow boaters in mooring at Taku’s marina. With a pristine harbour, access to all the resort’s amenities, and a short walk to provisions, the area protected by the breakwater of Rebecca Spit offers the perfect stop-over for boaters.
Millie and Fei are kicking off the unofficial start of the summer by enjoying the blue sky and snow capped mountains.
Have a great long weekend everyone!
A little surprising hello from Spring on the bluffs beside the ferry. Does anyone know the story on how the flowers got there? Did someone scale the bluff?
Help us wish Kassy all the best on this next chapter of life. She won't be far but will now be focusing on her own business @quadraislandkayaks and her growing family. You'll still get to see her when you book your kayaking adventure.
We can't thank Kassy enough for all that she has put into Taku since she has joined our team. She embraced Taku like it was her own. Her work ethic is second to none and her enthusiasm is endless. Where does she find the time?? Thank you for everything you've done here!🙏🏼 We will miss you.
Congratulations Kass, Chris, Wyatt and Ox! We can't wait to meet your sister. 💕💕💕
Happy Spring Break! The weather doesn't deter the kids from having fun.
